Story of the series

After crossing over into the disgraced crown prince's body, security guard Louis used a stun baton to handle a palace affair. When the empress tried to frame him, he subdued her guards. Undeterred, she conspired with Lord Saterling to drug the emperor and depose Louis. As crisis loomed, the emperor awoke and tested Louis with a question on statecraft. His brilliant reply secured him authority, enabling him to seize grain merchants' assets for relief and confront his rival head‑on.
