Story of the series

After a car crash on her achievement day, dying Selena called her mother Gabriel for a final goodbye. Gabriel, biased and celebrating her adopted daughter Bianca's lesser success, accused Selena of lying, crushing her will to live. A nagging worry made Gabriel consider checking the hospital, but Bianca manipulated her into staying. Tragically, Gabriel was then tasked with an emergency organ harvest, unknowingly operating on her own daughter. Selena's organs, including her heart, were later transplanted into Bianca. The funeral home's call finally exposed the truth. Consumed by grief and rage upon realizing Bianca's manipulation and her own horrific role, Gabriel sought legal justice.
