I am the last coffin painter

At the end of the 1940s in China, near the end of the Republic of China era, Eduardo, the last remaining coffin painter in Liuzhou, bore the mark of the ghost seal. His grandfather had passed away searching for a way to lift the curse, leaving Eduardo with less than six months to live as the ghost seal slowly consumed his life force. Desperate to find the Serpent's Bane Herb to remove the seal, Eduardo broke his vow and decorated a ceremonial coffin for the Tang family. However, he soon uncovered the tragic fate of Tang Rou, who had been forced into marriage with a wealthy merchant by her family and driven to her death. Her boyfriend, silenced and killed in an act of revenge, had thrown himself into the river with unresolved grievances. The dragon motif on the coffin clashed with the serpent symbol, a clash of traditional Chinese symbols representing power and deception, intensifying Tang Rou's resentment and setting off a chain of tragic events. Members of the Tang family met one gruesome demise after another. With the help of Chen, the skilled coffin artisan, Eduardo managed to calm the vengeful spirit. Later, he traveled to Chenjia Village to paint coffins, only to be coerced by Wilbur, a feng shui master and practitioner of Chinese geomancy, into exploring an ancient tomb. Amid deadly traps and supernatural dangers, Eduardo secured the key ingredient to lift the ghost seal—the Serpent's Bane Herb. As he stood on the brink of unraveling the ultimate truth behind his grandfather's disappearance and the origins of the ghost seal, the pieces of the puzzle began to fall into place.
