Story of the series

Julia, a bartender, was drugged by Pete — her father’s direct superior — who had taken a liking to her. She begged her father for help, but he turned a blind eye. In her struggle to escape, she accidentally crashed into Eric, the group’s CEO, and they ended up spending the night together by chance. A month later, Julia discovered she was pregnant. After being beaten by her mother, she ran right into Eric, who had come looking for her. He rescued her. Her friend George suspected she had deliberately set a trap to seduce Eric, but Eric didn’t believe it — until he overheard a phone call between Julia and her father, leading him to misunderstand her as a gold digger who had seduced him for money.
