Story of the series
Aurora may seem like an ordinary housewife, but in reality, she is the only daughter of the impossibly powerful Redmond family. On their wedding anniversary, she catches her politician husband, Shawn, cheating with her best friend, Tiffany, in his office. She also learns that her late young daughter was denied her life-saving transplant because of them. After learning the truth, Aurora contacts her family and decides to leave Shawn. She secretly gets him to uniwttingly sign a divorce agreement. Completely unaware of what’s happening, he continues his endless string of betrayals, practically rubbing her face in his affair. Aurora endures humiliation and anger. She plots her revenge. She exposes her cheating husband in front of the public at a campaign event, revealing his true nature to all of his supporters. She decides to run against him in the gubernatorial election, not only to end his political career, but to usurp it.
