STORY

Story of the series

At a hospital in K City, an unexpected car accident brings Gao Yuan and Huo Shang face to face after eight years apart, taking them back to the events of their youth. Eight years earlier, Gao Yuan and Huo Shang were complete opposites—one a top student and the other an academic underachiever. Although they initially disliked and misunderstood each other, they gradually helped each other heal and grow, eventually becoming inseparable friends. They promised to attend the same university, but an accident involving Liang Qi changed everything. Huo Shang risked his own safety to rescue Gao Yuan and Liang Qi, only to disappear without a word afterwards. For eight years, Huo Shang’s sudden departure remained a source of pain for Gao Yuan. Following their unexpected reunion, the two finally confront their past misunderstandings, gradually let go of their resentment, and reconcile. In the end, they once again become the most important friends in each other’s lives.
