Story of the series
Wall Street tycoon Ryan Chase is poisoned and pushed overboard by his fiancée, Mia, during a lavish yacht party. He miraculously survives—but loses his voice, his identity, and everything he once had. Left with nothing, Ryan is rescued by a kind mute woman named Sophia, who brings him back to her family’s small restaurant and offers him a job. Despite constant abuse from Sophia’s spiteful stepmother Diane, Ryan and Sophia grow close and eventually fall in love. When Sophia’s father, James, falls critically ill, Ryan steps up to help the family. Meanwhile, Mia forges a marriage certificate in an attempt to steal Ryan’s multi-billion-dollar empire. Ryan’s loyal assistant, Thomas, risks everything to protect what’s left. When Diane discovers Ryan’s true identity and still refuses to help James, Ryan finally reaches out to Thomas—ready to return to the battlefield and take back everything that was his.
