Story of the series
Thalassa, disliked by her mother-in-law Linda Miller, is framed for embezzlement, leading to her arrest and divorce from Kris Miller, who believes his mother and Thalassa's best friend, Karen. Pregnant with Kris's child, Thalassa is brutally attacked and loses the baby, an act orchestrated by Linda and Karen. Kris, manipulated, dismisses her loss. Three years later, Thalassa returns to Baltimore as the owner of TT Fashion, systematically targeting Linda's company for revenge. She confronts Linda, Susan, and Karen, physically retaliating for their past abuses and the murder of her unborn child. Kris, witnessing his family's deceit and Thalassa's suffering, investigates and learns of her pregnancy and the attack. However, hurt by his past cruelty, Thalassa falsely claims the baby wasn't his. At a charity event, Thalassa publicly humiliates Linda, solidifying her revenge while Kris grapples with conflicting emotions and growing regret.
