The Commander’s Daughter

After Evelyn Carter marries Henry Bennett, he abandons his pregnant wife and returns to the military camp. Seven years later, Evelyn travels to the camp to visit Henry for their son Oliver. She soon discovers that Henry has remarried Clarissa Monroe, the daughter of Ms. Barrett. Tragically, Oliver is killed by Ms. Barrett and Clarissa. To win favor with Evelyn’s father, a powerful commander, Henry murders Ms. Barrett. Driven by grief and rage, Clarissa kills Henry and then takes her own life.
