STORY

Story of the series

Nora was a rising defense attorney until her fiancé Adrian perjured himself on the stand, framing her and sending her to prison for three years. She emerged to find Adrian with Brooke—the real Bennett heir, who killed her own best friend Emma and stole her song. Nora quietly allied with Julian (the wrongly convicted man’s cousin) and Emma’s father Frank. Frank retrieved a deleted recording from Brooke’s home: Brooke ordering the murder. In court, Nora exposed everything. Brooke got life. Adrian fell. Nora reclaimed her law license, cut ties with all who betrayed her, and began again with Julian.
