The Forbidden Kitchen

Emilee's mother, Rosie, forbade her from entering the kitchen or eating the family's buns, promising to lift the ban only if she brought a boyfriend home. When Emilee finally brought Aaron, Rosie drugged her and lured him into the kitchen. Waking uneasy, Emilee found Rosie with a neighbor and saw Aaron's clothes, growing suspicious of the buns. Though the shop thrived, neighborhood rumors hinted at disappearances. Fearing wrongdoing, Emilee reported it, but an inspection found only quality pork. Still doubtful, she reluctantly let it go. Soon, Aaron's brother Eric arrived, claiming he was missing. While searching the kitchen, Eric took Emilee hostage, demanding the secret recipe. It was revealed Aaron had targeted her for the recipe and had been imprisoned by Rosie, who had kept her daughter out of the kitchen to protect her. And the shop had always been legitimate.
