STORY

Story of the series

Alaric, the arrogant son of the God King, is cast down from the celestial realm for his reckless abuse of power. Stripped of his divinity and marked with a golden brand, he crash-lands in the grimy streets of Exile City—a lawless slum rotting from within. There, he encounters four ragged orphans: fiery Wally, bookish Finn, serene Percy, and timid Daisy. Bound by a mysterious connection to his brand, they refuse to leave his side. But these children are no ordinary waifs—they are living vessels destined to become the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse: War, Famine, Pestilence, and Death. Beneath the city, a fragment of the Lord of Decay awakens, fed by the corrupt ruler Vaya using citizens as living fuel. As black rot spreads, Alaric realizes RAGNARÖK IS COMING, he must reclaim his lost power, or forge a new one born not from divine right, but from the bond he shares with four children who dared to trust a fallen god.
