The old house is haunted

Wang Hu and Li Xiufang poured their life savings into an old house in the village, only to be met with a series of bizarre events right after moving in. Chen Xin's best friend's family had died from poisoning, and she mistakenly believed the couple were the villains who had stolen her friend's home, prompting her to orchestrate the scheme to scare them away. The truth was that the original owners had been accidentally poisoned in an incident involving medicinal herbs, a fact the villagers had hidden to protect their own livelihoods by protecting the reputation of their medicinal herb trade. In the end, Chen Xin apologized to Wang Hu and Li Xiufang and reconciled with her father, and the couple chose to stay in the old house.
