The Price of Blindness

She was unfaithful during her marriage, and because she trusted the words of the man she idealized, she mistakenly believed her husband was after her money and using their daughter to extort her. As a result, she refused to save her daughter’s life, unaware that her husband had always hidden his true identity and silently supported her career behind the scenes. The man she idealized, however, was merely using her to steal her husband’s research plans and swindle her family assets. When the truth finally came to light, she was filled with regret, but her husband and daughter chose not to forgive her. Her husband ended up with a junior colleague who had long harbored feelings for him, and their daughter actively sought out a new mother, leaving her with nothing but remorse.
